Winduo culturally spot on!

Letters, Normal

DR Steven Winduo’s critique of the Great Wall of PNG in front of the Chinese Embassy in Port Moresby enlightens our minds on the unique cultural and social representations embodied in mural arts.
We believe that the works of art represents one’s past, present and future.
Dr Winduo is right that, until one begins to ponder what mural art really represents, a youth with his can of paint may soon paints his expression of life over those beautiful mural arts.
That is the saddest part of mural art in public places in Port Moresby.
Graffiti is another form of art that portrays an image of a society that needs proper mindset … to learn to respect the arts of others.
