CHAIRMAN of advisory committee to NEC Adrian Winnie says persons with disability now have a greater chance of having their concerns heard and participating in the  election.
Winnie is chairman of the disability working committee with the PNG Electoral Commission and secretary for the disability desk at the department of community development.
He said the national government had recognised that persons with disabilities had been marginalised for too  long. They continue to face discrimination around the country.
“Our vote will make the political difference,” Winnie told persons with disability in Lae.
Common roll registration for the persons with disability in Lae and Morobe ended last Friday after three days of enrolment.
