People in Suringki, Enga, coming out to see police clearing the road. Police have been called on to undertake a various tasks during General Election 2022. Enga special operations Chief Insp Kelly Sombe said police and other security personnel must be ready for the unexpected, especially in remote areas. “While carrying out the main security ops, there are always a number of other tasks,” he said, adding that it could be anything from transporting people to health facilities to removing obstructions on roads.
