People gathering near the counting centre at Momei Oval in Mendi town on Tuesday after security forces engaged in the General Election 2022 in Mendi, Southern Highlands, withdrew their security monitoring services yesterday citing interference in their operations by candidates. Provincial election manager Alwin Jimmy said he was concerned by the development as they headed into the final stages of counting and declarations.
