How nice is this? It didn’t take long for the authorities to act and clear the overgrown bougainvillea plant from this corner at Kaubebe Street, in Boroko, Port Moresby.
They have even cut the grass and now this corner is easily accessible again.
It looks tidy and clean.
But NCDC’s effort to get Boroko back to its glory days never ends.
The pile of barbed wire featured in this column last week is still there, always threatening to rip the legs of passersby, especially the children from nearby Coronation Primary School.
Boroko is looking cleaner, just a little over a week after a betel nut ban was put in place.
Nice.
