The old jetty at Busama once served coastal and inland villages of Salamaua local level government in Morobe. It made sure supplies were taken safely ashore and tourists were safe. Today the jetty shows only old bones and has not been used for more than five years. Nothing has been done to fix it, although the area is still a possible tourist attraction. A little upgrade and clean-up will bring it back to life.
