This is the Gerehu public bus stop in Port Moresby where commuters catch the Route 9 bus to go to work.
Commuters turn up at 6:30am and wait until 8am to get on the No.9.
The struggle is the same going home after work.
Buses should charge K1 for a Gerehu-to- Waigani fare.
The No.9 bus should run from Gerehu to Boroko but buses don’t usually follow the same route everyday.
And in many cases, they charge K2 for the run. But what can one do? Without official intervention, nothing will change.
