The Government has resolved that LLGs in 89 districts in PNG will have a high school each. However, many newly established schools are still struggling to have proper facilities.
There is a lack of adequate funding. Buang High School in Bulolo, Morobe, is no exception since it was established in 2016. The photo at the top shows students cooking on an open fire under a kunai thatched makeshift shelter. The second photo shows students standing in line to get their meal.
