Nothing much has changed at Ward Three of the Ihu local level government, in Kikori District, Gulf.
For this woman, fishing is what feeds the family, but there is a sad story here that is not often told.
This lagoon where she is catching fish used to be the village, which was destroyed in a natural disaster in 2009 and forever turned into a lake.
Fourteen families used to have their houses here. Nothing much has been done to help them in the decade since they lost their homes.
