Huon Gulf district development authority members and administration officers accompanying MP Ross Seymour to Tsiletsile, Lower Watut, were left stranded on Friday when the locals did not turn up to take them across the river. But even when they managed to cross they were then unable to find the bush track leading to Tsiletsile.

Pictured: District executive officer Moses Wanga (second from left) speaking to church representative Pastor Mera Kuku. The group included presidents Philemon Tomala (Salamaua), Otti Bagiro (Morobe), women and youth’s representatives, administration officers and the media. They waited from noon until Seymour returned at 8pm.
