This is the current condition of the Usino Bundi road, in Madang. people struggling every day to access basic goods and service.
While a local contractor is trying to upgrade the road, the steep hill close to popularly known Karwar Market is completely impassable and people are literally pulling the vehicles along slippery muds.
Last week while the PMV’s were struggling to manure through, the local Bundi Health Centre ambulance made an urgent evacuation trip of a sick child.
The commuters pulled aside and helped pulled the land cruise, making its way to Madang, attempting to save the life of the sick child.
