THE road condition along the national highway from Mutzing to Waterais, in Umi-Atzera, Markham plains in Morobe, has worsened with crater-like potholes. Last Friday, around 5:45am, this Kenworth truck, loaded with store goods heading for the Highlands overturned a few metres from Umi market. Within minutes, all the goods in the container had disappeared. The looters even drained the fuel and took away spare parts. The driver and crew escaped unhurt, but the truck lay there on its side – empty – for the weekend
