OVER the last two weeks, people living along the Malahang industrial area in Lae have been complaining of a bad smell coming from the drain along the main road there.
The people suspected that the smell was coming from the drain a fishing processing company used to dispose waste.
One could hardly breathe when walking along there.
Many people have been complaining and some said that their children were affected.
Could the authorities investigate into what had caused the foul smell?
