This herd of cattle has turned Goroka town into a home.
They live in Goroka, have their calves in Goroka and will probably die in Goroka.
The problem is that they are breaking the law, which bans stray animals and by being in a public place these animals risk being shot or having their owner, or owners, hauled before the law and fined.
Their presence in town is both a health and safety risk.
The herd scavenges for food in rubbish heaps in Goroka and in some cases are a traffic hazard.
Is the law turning a blind eye to this nuisance?
