NCD Governor Powes Parkop told the media on May 24 that the city is now fully covered by surveillance cameras to help prevent and detect crime in public places.
He made this known when commissioning the Police closed-circuit television (CCTV) Control Centre at Oakley Haus in Hohola.
Pictured is a man begging for money from a driver who was at the traffic lights at the inter-section along the John Guise drive in the nation’s capital on June 1.
All this was done in front of the CCTV cameras.
