Chimbu’s Kundiawa town needs public toilets which the town authority has overlooked for years.
People have been using places out of sight to relieve themselves (as pictured).
One common sight is in between a container placed towards the end of TNA bake shop and Air Niugini office at the side of the now closed airport.
The stench of urine permeates through the air in the heart of town, and the smell becomes strong when the heat of the day intensifies.
The town authority needs to address this issue.
