The National Highway linking Wau-Bulolo and Menyamya Districts has been cut off at two places by flooding rivers.
The Bulolo Town to Wau was cut off at Pine Top Bridge by the Bulolo River while the Watut River cut off the abutment of the Society Bridge.
Since the weekend, commuters had to change vehicles to reach their destinations. Member for Bulolo and Minister for National Planning Sam Basil has been in touch with the Department of Works to secure funding to address the situation.
