THIS pile of rubbish was dumped along Seagull Street in Lae before Christmas and was never removed.
It has become an eye sore and presents a health risk.
The Lae city authority should enact a law to control such rubbish disposal in public areas that deface the city.
Most Asian shops build shelters outside the shops and dump wastes of all types that create foul smell.
