THIS section of the Arawa-Buin highway in Central Bougainville, Autonomous Region of Bougainville, was destroyed by the sea at Koromira.
The recent rainy and windy weather has caused high seas that have washed off over 50 metres of the road.
Traffic would be affected. This is the effect of climate change.
