THE condemned Kavieng police cell is no longer keeping crime offenders but the police station is still operating.
“We have condemned cells in the Kavieng police station and it is becoming a concern now, and many of these people applying for bail are also not following procedures,” Kavieng prison acting commander Snr Insp Lamasisi Marengi said recently.
