Due to the remoteness of Nuku in West Sepik, the district faces many challenges to access basic services.
The district has fertile land to plant cocoa and vanilla but with the bad road condition, only those who are strong enough to walk make it to the nearest town to sell their cash crops.

  • Not this along but the soldiers and police at Sikau which is the border of west and East Sepik are treating people badly. Charging drivers for K400 both ways every day is not good. Even they restricting people to looking for their needs and wants. Prime Minister should be blamed on that, I think mr Hon. Namah is right. Coronavirus is the matter is to deal with the health organization and also to look at our international borders rather than suffering people of PNG… everything is for reasoning, God is not a author of confusion, God knows it prior to the events like that and he is in control over us as a whole nation….Give us freedom please!!!!

  • The roads in the Telefomin station are far worse than this raod. MP been in the gov’t for two terms but no real change taken place…What a shame!

  • There’s a real honest, professional, dedicated armed forces and those forces who are lazy, unprofessional in their dealings. Living in overseas I’ve never seeing military personnal and police personnel terrorised their citizens. Only found in PNG. Few rotten apples damage the good name of the both forces. Nuku em ples blg mi, why doing that to my peopleand you have real rascols which you need to hunted them . Be honest and be professionals in your dealings. Those people of nuku n lumi whom you’re terrorizing them are very hard working than you. They eat out of their sweat. Bad toilet training.
