The Handra bridge in Kubalia, East Sepik, will be a huge relief for the villagers when completed.
The people have been struggling for a number of years without a bridge.
Once completed, it will relieve around 10 communities who will be able to bring their produces to the market, travel to hospitals and children can easily access their schools.
The work on the new bridge is funded by the Government through the Department of Works.
