WORK has begun for a force forward operating base (FOB) to be built in Hela.
This follows last month’s signing of agreement between the Hela government and Papua New Guinea Defence Force.
Hela Governor Philip Undialu said to have a FOB in the province was strategic because of a number of reasons including security of the multi-billion-kina PNG LNG project.
