Letters

PEOPLE going around the Boroko, Okari Street in Port Moresby for the past few days have decided to litter on the pavement in front of a shop where there is a trash bin in site.
When are we going to be responsible for our rubbish?

  • Unfortunately for PNG, changes in this sort of attitude and behaviour will not eventuate, in the mean time.

Infrastructure or material changes may occur but if peoples attitude don’t change, there won’t be any real human progress in the PNG society.

This terrible habit of littering has grown into the genes of the people and will be inherited by generations to come. Be sure that this won’t change for the 100yrs to come. If the people could have changed, it was in the last 40yrs of independence. Sad.

    PNG Change!
