 THE West New Britain Governors Cup which started last Friday continues through this week.

According to the games committee report, most codes are nearing their finals. 

The women’s volleyball had their finals on Monday and the men are scheduled to end their matches midweek. 

Leading the women’s gold race is team Kimbe Pirates from Kimbe Urban LLG while STK Bullets lead the men’s division. 

The report said basketball unearthed much interest with some outstanding performances on the court from the likes of sisters Lucy and Priscilla Gudiri from Mosa.

Women’s basketball will be decided between West United and West Admin.

Porapora is leading in the women’s touch while the Gigo and Bugs teams are leading in the men’s division.

Netball has Patanga from Talasea LLG still leading followed closely by Kimbe Bay.

83 Strangers won the league 9s. All games are expected to be completed by the weekend.
