OX & Palm Women’s National Soccer League coordinator Simon Koima is calling on all clubs to submit their master team lists and complete their outstanding registration payment by Friday.
He warned clubs that if they failed to meet the deadline, they would be fined.
Koima is expecting everything to be in place before the competition resumes for the second round on Saturday at the Bisini soccer ground.
He said the opening match would see Mungkas take on University Inter FC club at 9am.
The second match between VAT Yamaros and Hekari is set for 11am before the men’s game between CPL Eastern Star and Tukoko University.
Mungkas are currently on second spot after losing to Yamaros 2-1 in the close of the opening half of the NSL competition.
However, they have regrouped and they will come back in full force to meet the might of the reigning champions.
University started on the wrong foot and will be out to start the new year on a winning note.
Mungkas will rely on imported players from Madang and Lae to support their homegrown players while University with several PNG internationals should give them a good run for their money.
Both teams drew in the opening round 1-1 but it will certainly be a different story on Saturday.
In the second match, the Guria-dominated Yamaros outfit led by veteran Miriam Lanta will be out to maintain their dominance over Hekari.
It should be an interesting match to watch.
Yamaros dethroned early competition leaders Mungkas and they will be out to add Hekari to their bag of scalps.
Hekari should step up like their male counterparts and play better coordinated football to give them a chance of victory.
In Lae, Bara will take on Wau while competition leaders Poro will play PNG Power.
Bara is in form and should have no problem with the girls from Krusako country.
Wau can cause upsets but it was the lack of fitness that has let them down on numerous occassions.
