Wobiro inspects Israel health system

 WESTERN Governor Ati Wobiro has told the Israeli Health Minister Yael German that local medicine lacks advanced technology.

The governor is in Israel to look at the Israeli health system.

German discussed with Wobiro in Jerusalem on Monday cooperation between the countries and the possibility of sending an Israeli delegation to advise medical teams in Papua New Guinea on tele-medicine.

Wobiro told German that local medicine lacked advanced technologies and his visit to Israel was to connect Israeli experts to their counterparts back home.

Meanwhile, he revealed that Prime Minister Peter O’Neill is scheduled to visit Israel in October.
