Woman fined K1,500 over nudes

A WOMAN from West Sepik has been fined K1,500 for selling to a man her mobile phone containing 14 naked photos of hers, senior provincial Magistrate Sasa Inkung says.
The Vanimo District Court fined Carmella Rumai, 27, from Malol village, Aitape, West Sepik.
The man was from Yako village, Vanimo, West Sepik.
He did not know the phone had her nude photos and only discovered them when he was going through its photo gallery.
He reported it to police.
She was arrested and charged with producing pornographic photos.”
Magistrate Inkung said the court convicted Rumai for producing pornographic photos on that grounds that it promoted immorality and unchristian-like behaviour.
“It is also shameful to her and her family,” Magistrate Inkung said.
“Initially, the court fined her K2,000 but since she expressed remorse and was a first-time offender, it reduced the fine to K1,500, she had paid it.”
Meanwhile, a police prosecutor handling the cases of two health workers accused of attacking the crowd while conducting Covid-19 awareness, has been missing for two months.
“He went on sick leave without informing his immediate supervisor, he also didn’t hand over the police report to the other police prosecutor to take charge of the case in his absence. And so the court is expected to hand down a decision (today),” Magistrate Inkung said.
He said: “Brian Litiki, 40, from Kairuru, East Sepik, and Mathew Wee, 39, from Pagwi, East Sepik, had been appearing in court since Aug 17 for allegedly attacking the crowd while heavily intoxicated with alcohol in Vanimo.
“Litiki and Wee appeared on charges of inciting public disobedience while carrying out Covid-19 awareness on Aug 10.
“They were going around in a vehicle and carrying out awareness which was not clear. A man shouted at them to stop because they were drunk and the public could not understand them.
“They were irritated by the man shouting at them, stopped the vehicle and with a fan belt they came down and hit the man. The public retaliated and attacked Litiki and Wee.”

We as Parents, Education System & Churches and those of concern and those in the right frame of mind should do more by educating society at the early age about moral values, consequence of porn, design & purpose of marriage, family values, discipleship of Christ (Christian) values &its benefits, heaven & hell etc..
With technology at your finger tips and accessing almost any subject matter 24/7 anywhere-anytime, the decision to turn away from such rot is almost impossible to the young, old, married or single, grandparents and people of all levels in society and colour. It has infiltrated our homes, bedrooms and ultimately society.
The Devil must not be given a strong foothold in this fight, the fight for the essence of life, the fight that is destroying the fabrics of society (marriage & family). Christian values are expected to begin at home, the education system and the community and with the Fear of God knowing He is Omnipresent (being everywhere and anywhere at the sometime) and Omnipotent (Almighty & All-Powerful with Authority) substantial improvement with change in the mindset/thoughts in this area can be achieved out of fear knowing the consequences of Sin.

How about those real porn stars whonmakr porn movies and take nude photos and upload on PNG porn or kwap sites??? Can they be arrested too and charge or sent to prison since porn is illegal in PNG???
