Woman in court for cyber bullying

A WOMAN, who allegedly harassed another woman on Facebook, appeared for mention in the Waigani Committal Court yesterday.
Louisa Jim Kia, originally from Winikos in Kompiam-Ambum in Enga, was charged with six counts of cyber harassing.
Police alleged that on Aug 8, Kia harassed Tabitha Nero by posting several harassing status and comments in the form of text on Facebook.
Kia made a verbal application to the court seeking bail, claiming she had spent two weeks in the holding cell in Boroko.
Magistrate Cosmas Bidar granted her bail and imposed the following conditions:

  •  That she should not interfere with the state witness ,especially Tabitha Nero;
  •  That she must reside at Morata 1 in National Capital District at all times and attend court until the completion of her case; and
  •  That she must not commit another offence while on bail.
    Magistrate Bidar adjourned the matter to Sept 28 for mention.
