THE Ox & Palm Women’s National Soccer League semi-final for the Lae leg tomorrow will be an entertaining one between Poro and Prima PNG Power.

The game will be a curtain raiser to the Telikom men’s National Soccer League game between Besta PNG United and Port Moresby FC at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium.

All it took was a lapse in concentration last week by Poro for Power to score and coach Peter Gunemba has seen to it that his back four were switched on for the whole match and for the side to show more urgency in defence.

Gunemba said apart from defence, his team needed to take their opportunities with the responsibility falling on PNG representative strikers in Zeena Limbai (senior women) and Meagan Gunemba (U20).

Gunemba said the feeling was positive heading into the match and despite a few niggling injuries.

Meanwhile PNG Power are seen as the underdogs having struggled through the season but have hit a good form recently including their surprise win over Poro last week.

Manager Rose Opi told The National that her roster was practically injury free and were brimming with confidence.
