PORT Moresby Women’s Rugby League teams are urged to settle their affiliation and player registrations Friday week.

PMWRL president Ellis Siki said that PNG Rugby Football League had extended the players registration by two weeks since the women’s competition started last week.

Siki said the player registration was K50. Only three clubs, Tarangau, Dobo Warriors and Royals had settled while Paga Panthers, Sisters and Magani were advised to deposit the money into PNGRFL BSP account number 1004351662.

Siki said champions Hohola Flies had expressed their interest but have to confirm that with payment.

“No cash will be entertained during the matches as it’s too risky and unsafe to deal with cash out public places,” Siki said.

“This season competition is for 10 rounds which includes the finals complete together with PRL men’s competition in September or October.”

Siki thanked major sponsor Digicel for three-year deal of K30,000, Moresby North East MP Labi with K20,000 and National Gaming Control Board  with K10,000 to help develop the competition.
