WOMEN in League continue to work side by side with the Port Moresby Women’s Rugby League (POMWRL).

Women in League director Susan Searson donated 100 drink-bottles and bags to be shared among the  clubs in the competition.

Searson said this was their way of saying that they needed to continue to work together to promote rugby league.

She said that they made a commitment to POMWRL last year and they were committed to the programmes set for 2013.

POMWRL president Elis Siki thanked Women in League for their support and made a commitment to promote the numerous social issues.

She said the competition had been boosted by an additional four clubs, making it a 10-team competition.

The competition starts this weekend, has Paga Panthers, Royals, Dobo Warriors, Defence, Sisters, Tarangau, Hohola Flies, Maiari Eagles, Magani and Butterflies.
