Women’s success boosts team out on range

 WITH Papua New Guinea’s success in the women’s shooting competition, the mixed 22m standard pistol will hope to add to the success today.

National trainer Peter Leahy said: “With the confidence from our successes in the women’s event we can take that through the competition.” 

Leahy said the 22m mixed competition was deferred to today but the momentum was with the host nation. “Our aim now is to stay focused and repeat that balance and concentration. It’s all good, 90 per cent is mental, and we already got gold and I think we will have it again,” he said.
