Women call league meet

THE Port Moresby Women’s Rugby Football League are calling on their 10 clubs to attend a special general meeting at 4pm today at the Lloyd Robson oval.
POMWRFL operations coordinator John Mawe said it was important the executives of Sisters, Dobo Warriors, Royals, Panthers, Defence, Tarangau, Eagles, Storms, West and Hawks attended to deliberate on the 2013 competition.
Mawe said the meeting would determine whether to increase the number of clubs and to confirm participation for this upcoming season.
He said the affiliation fee and player registration would be discussed so that clubs could meet the deadline set by the executives.
