Women prefer to prove they are capable

NOW that the Government has recalled Parliament to sit on Oct 20, there are talks that the Government will push for the bill to have three women nominated to Parliament.
This move is a slap in the face for our women because it means they are incompetent and weak to make it on their own merit to Parliament.
On that note, how can we relate to the women politicians, bureaucrats and entrepreneurs who have beat the odds to make it to the top?
How can society or government recognise the efforts these women made in a male-dominated environment?
The bill is a cheap shot to elevate the status of women when many of our women would prefer to make their way up on merit and through hard work, just like their male counterparts.
