Work must continue, says PM
PRIME Minister James Marape has urged public servants to continue their duties and “leave politics to the politicians”.
“Just because Parliament has decided to adjourn to Dec 1, it does not mean that the executive arm of government is dysfunctional,” Marape said.
“We have three arms of Government – the judiciary, the legislature and the executive. The executive that I head is very much functional and alive.
“Government will not stop just because some MPs who want to be prime minister decide to adjourn Parliament to Dec 1.
“When Dec 1 arrives, we will (conduct) Parliament business to the best of our ability.”
Prime Minister Marape urged everyone to leave politics to the politicians.
“Public servants remain at work, the business community remain at work,” he said.
“Papua New Guinea is an exciting place in as far as politics is concerned. What is being witnessed is the usual play of politicians leading up the expiry of the grace period (of 18 months) of the sitting government.”
Marape refuted allegations on social media that he was giving out instructions on Saturday – his Sabbath.
“Saturday is a day on which I rest from work.”
Marape said allocations in the 2020 Supplementary Budget had been spent on public service salaries, state liabilities and funds to districts and provinces.

I have a dream that opposition is spilting up again soon or later, joining the PMJM camp, PMJM should have the confident.
Tue guys in Vanimo will eat and talk but when they return to POM, more than 10 will become Judas and betray BN and his loyalists. Leaders don’t blinded by money to give rise to corruption and evil activities. Have some thoughts of what is good and evil or bad.
Should I say that the Marape Government is the best in the history of PNG politics…The reasons they stated about economy are just the cover ups… let me make a point: Because Marape is trying to be too transparent this other MPs are playing the role of demons trying to attack… elected mps what can you do within this 12 months period, you think you do magic?? Please, just let him finish his term and you all can come back fresh on 2022….

PMJM This are trying times, let the shot sighted ,immature boys in the likes of Puka Temu,Sam Basil and the main empty drum and sounding cymbal BN try out their luck. This people have but a shot time to live,They are simply playing the devils role over and over again.Psalms 37 the whole chapter in the Holy Book best described what will happen to bad people especially in the verses 35 and 36 .I have seen the wicked in great powers, and spreading like a green bay tree.and Verse 36 Yet he passed away ,and lo he was not,but he could not be found.BE STRONG PMJM Take back PNG.
With you PMJM, May the Lord continue to bless your good leadership for the people of PNG, and may he grant you one more time to oversee PNG as a whole. God bless you.

Thank you Paul, Kagai, Patricia and others who had commended positively on PMJM’s leadership. Let us all pray and let GOD’S WILL be done.
Work has to go on as we get closer to the festive season. Let no distractions take anyone away from performing their duties. The country currently needs all efforts from everyone to turn things around. Some politicians have made themselves a laughing stock . It’s a shame.
