DIRECTOR of State land Tiri Wanga has urged settlers to cooperate with Government agencies in its building projects.
One of the biggest projects is the construction of 40,000 houses at Duran Farm Estate, at 8-Mile, outside Port Moresby.
“The National Housing Corporation is part and parcel of the development process of the Government,” he said.
“Lands and Physical Planning, together with National Planning, are part and parcel of that process.
“We have a commitment to provide land to build houses. Many settlers have taken away land illegally. We have organisations which are responsible for providing affordable houses for all of us.
“I want everybody to give your full support to NHC to create this project and ensure that it is a success.”
