THE National Agriculture Quarantine and Inspection Authority (NAQIA) has encouraged its employees to participate in sporting activities to maintain physical fitness and their health.

Acting managing director Joel Alu told his staff to play sports on weekends if they want to keep fit, healthy and be in good shape.

He made these comments when handing over two sets of brand new uniforms to his staff who are taking part in the Corporate Touch Footy Competition at Murray Barracks in Port Moresby.

“Many times we sit in the office behind computers and do not find enough time to do exercise in order to keep our bodies healthy, fit and strong,” Alu said.
