NATIONAL Airports Corporation workers will now have easier access to personal loans.

They will have less difficulty in seeking expert advice on personal finance management.

This was made possible by an agreement between NAC and Bank South Pacific as part of the corporation’s drive to improve its staff welfare.

The corporation initiated the scheme with the bank to prepare its national employees for the corporation’s home ownership scheme and to enable them meet their other obligations.

According to the arrangement, BSP sales representatives will attend to NAC employees once a week to help them on matters relating to personal loans, opening of accounts and information on the bank’s products and services.

The corporation introduced several schemes this year, including the staff medical scheme, housing and home ownership scheme and personal loans scheme.

Port Moresby-based NAC staff members have had their first meeting with BSP sales representatives on July 10.

Staff members in the 22 regional airports would participate in the scheme when arrangements were finalised between their respective operations managers and local BSP branch managers.
