Wrong sign, wrong place

The National Letters

This sign, and another one facing John Guise Drive, in front of the City Hall, Port Moresby, has been there for some time. What’s wrong with it?

  • It should not be where it is because it is too close to the footpath and the main road (Waigani Drive).
  •  The letter ‘Y’ is missing at the end of what should be the word ‘ENTRY’.
  •  Is the driveway for the use of only one vehicle or all authorised vehicles as well? It is a public office and it should therefore be accessible to both work and the public vehicles.
    Remove the signs because it does not look good with the developments taking place there. It is an eyesore. Too many signs can make the place look untidy.
    Good signs are professionally done and are placed in right place to match and merge with building materials used, colours, surrounding environments, etc.
