Emuka told The National that Lae 11 (Under-17), Sambure (reserve league), Siassi (B-League), Prima Power (women) and PS United (A-League) had booked their spots for Sunday’s grand finals.
“They await the winners of Saturday’s semifinals,” he said.
“The semifinals will see Sambure taking on Sobou (U17), Consort up against Sobou (reserve), Momase battle it out with Morobe Ganai (B-League), Lae 11 lock horns with Bompog (women) and minor premiers Yamaki face Consort United (A-League).”
Emuka said Sambure (U17), Consort (reserve), Momase (B-League), Prima Power (women) and Yamaki (A-League) were the minor premiers of their respective divisions.
The teams that have been confirmed to represent the association at next year’s club championships are Yamaki, Consort (men), Prima Power and Lae 11 (women).
The games start at 8am and fans are encouraged to turn up at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium to support their teams.
