Yokomo are determined to finish top in the men’s softball competition in the Port Moresby Softball competition.
With the finals starting next weekend, Yokomo maintain pole spot in the A and B grades.
Competition official Constantine Bais said despite Yokomo being on top, other teams were still competitive. “After all the regular rounds are completed, we go straight into the finals next weekend,” he said.
In the A-grade division, United Brothers are second to Yokomo.
The B-Grade division also has Yokomo leading the pack.
Other teams like PNG Power and Brown Eagles will look to catch up with the leaders in their final regular games.
Eagles’ first game on Sunday will be against Defence and their second game will be against Yokomo.
United Brothers, who have been tough this year, will look to see off the Bears when they do battle on Sunday.
