SOUTHERN Highlands deputy provincial administratorJerry David has been sidelined, according to former Tepe-Eskembe councilor David Muri.

He said this had shocked the people of Lower Mendi LLG as everyone were mourning the death of David’s brother.

Muri said David was a young leader who had sacrificed his time to carry out his duties and his sidelining for alleged absenteeism indicated that there was no cooperation in the provincial administration.

“On behalf of the people of Lower Mendi, I call on the acting administrator Ungia Kembo to say sorry to David and reinstate him as soon as possible.

“Your decision is irrelevant and does not comply with the general orders and public servants management act.”
