ABOUT 30 youths from Afore and Kokoda have ended a two-week workshop on church worship music, held at the Basabe Renewal church centre in the Afore LLG, Ijivitari district in Northern.
The course covered skills, patterns and timings in music production in churches.
The course, conducted by Perazim music director Kenlow Gasara assisted by Cecil Kindou ended on Good Friday afternoon.
Afore Renewal church administrator Isaiah Mamure last Saturday said churches needed uncompromised praise and worship to draw souls to worship God in spirit and truth. And youths have greater responsibilities to play using their talents.
Other speakers included Pr Richard Arore and senior Pr Laurence Isuo who encouraged the participants to be creative in using what they learnt in skills and innovative ways in their churches.
The youths came from the Renewal, United, CRC and Anglican churches in the Afore and Kokoda LLGs.
