‘Youths need to know roles of archangles’

Faith

THE Dirima Catholic Christian community in Chimbu celebrated St Michael’s feast day recently by praying for protection for the church.
Dirima parish priest Fr Peter Kim in his homily during the thanksgiving mass said the late Archbishop Herman To Paivu had nominated St Michael to protect PNG.
Fr Peter said young people needed to know well the roles of the three archangels – Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.
The mass served as a dedication mass for students from elementary, primary and secondary schools in Dirima starting the fourth term of the academic year.
Fr Peter said Christians could invoke St Michael to protect national leaders from evil, and protect the country from pestilence and disease such as the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
