Youths take a leading role in change

 A GROUP of young men and women in Lower Erap, Nawaeb, Morobe, have taken the lead in embracing change and initiating development programmes into their village.

The Kuyang Youth Development Association, located near the ErapTrukai farm, is a group with elected executives who have prepared themselves through initial mind-set change training and, with the support from parents, to build a kunai thatched training centre and are now set to go into development and life skills training to be introduced by Nawaeb district. The training centre programme is an initiative of Nawaeb MP Gisuwat Siniwin.
