ON behalf of the people of Wasu LLG in Morobe province, I would like to congratulate the newly-elected MP Mao Zeming.
The people of Wasu LLG have been suffering and it is only fitting for Zeming to be returned to office.
Ten years ago, when he was the MP, the people of Wasu saw some development.
It is also fitting for him to prioritise agriculture because the people can now be assisted to sell their cocoa, copra, fish, garden food and coffee in Lae.
Also, there is now a genuine hope to revive the defunct Wasu Kabwum Coffee Mill, which he started when he was the MP.
I commend the people of Tewai-Siassi for their courage and to seek a change of leadership.
This is definitely the dawn of a new era for the people.
