Puma opens new service station

The involvement of Puma Energy in community development projects has empowered the people economically, says Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko.
Tkatchenko made the remark during the opening of a Puma Energy fuel service station at Lawes Road in Port Moresby.
He thanked Puma Energy for its partnership with the National Capital District Commission and Port Moresby South electorate.
“This is the second project launch we are doing in Moresby South. The Koki Fish Market was the first,” he said.
“Puma (Energy) put
K2 million investment there and together with NCDC we made the market project a success.
“Puma Energy has also come on board to build a brand new market beside the service station to assist our mothers to sell their produce. People can buy from the market and from the service station, too.”
He urged the community to take care of the initiative as it lifts the image of Konedobu.
Tkatchenko said there were more fuel stations to be opened in the electorate.
“The new Saraga market has space there to do a service station. Also there will be one in Taurama and in Dogura. These are all still in negotiations with NCDC because they own the land,” he said.
