Facilitator invites villagers to register for bricklaying course

COORDINATOR of the Bougainville Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Joe Buboi is extending an invitation to the community to be part of a six-week bricklaying course for TVET teachers at the Haela Catholic Parish in North Bougainville.
Buboi said those interested could register to learn the basics.
The training started last Monday, with the first two weeks in Haela followed by Central and South Bougainville. The training is facilitated by a bricklayer from the Lae Builders and Construction.
The training was organised for teachers but Buboi is opening the doors to the community.
“With Bougainville going through many infrastructural developments, the community members can register and attend so for any future developments in their community they can help,” he said.
Training in Central Bougainville will be at the Mabiri Technical Secondary School and in South Bougainville at the Buin Vocational Centre.
