A YOUTH leader from Ahia sub-district of Kagua-Erave, Southern Highlands, says the people are not receiving basic health and education services.
The youth leader, Wabi Smith, said in Lae that the people had to walk to Pangia-Ialibu to get services.
He said the people have been turned away by the health workers at Ialibu-Pangia district headquarters because they say the services were for their own people.
Smith said they had been told bluntly: “Hey you people from Kagua-Erave, don’t you have an MP that provides services?”
He said Kagua-Erave MP James Lagae, had to improve health and education services along with road infrastructure.
